Throughout the history of God's people, songs and music have played an important role in leading the people and individuals in adoration, meditation, and worship.
"I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel".

The Israel Field Music Coordinator is to continue this role by:
- Identifying the musical talents of our members to develop their skills and encourage their participation in this aspect of the Lord's work.
- Developing a Field choir to such a standard that it could visit cities and other venues to provide spiritual encouragement for the benefit of local congregations and to witness in their areas.
- Helping the Field and each local congregation to spread the Bible message through the musical gifts that the Lord has given to our members.
- Advising the Contextualization Committee in matters relating to worship among the various ethnic groups within the church including encouraging the use of Jewish liturgical music and songs.
- Collecting hymns in Adventist hymnals that are common to the main languages we have in Israel (English, Romanian, Russian, Hebrew, Spanish, Ashanti) with a view to publishing an international Adventist hymn book that would be useful in other countries as well as Israel.
