 The Israel Field Communication Department's mission statement is - Building Bridges of Hope. We will accomplish this by reaching diverse church audiences both within the SDA church and in other denominations, with an open, responsible, and hope-filled communication program.

The Israel Field Communication Department will effectively use contemporary technologies and methods of communication. The desired effect of our vision and activities is to create a favorable image of the church, its mission, life, activities, and witness, so that many will become followers of Mashiah and become members of this, His kehila.

The director will:

  1. Recommend, develop and co-ordinate the overall communication strategy within the territory of the Israel Field, identifying specific approaches for the church's internal and external publics.
  2. Be spokesperson on behalf of the administration and the church.
  3. Provide a timely, regular, and frequent news and information service to the territories of the Israel Field.
  4. Provide communication services to local Churches.
  5. Be involved with crisis communication response, including assistance to the Israel Field president.
  6. Develop new initiatives for the Israel Field web site.
  7. Foster professionalism in communication through training programs.
  8. Provide research and information to support the Field's strategic plan.
